I really enjoyed reading this essay. It fed my Vorfreude, as I am heading to New York at the end of September, my first time in the States. I have also never experienced jet lag before, as I haven’t traveled across many time zones. So I will take your advice very seriously: “Jet lag is something to be exploited, not endured.”
